EDAM conducts an economic impact analysis of Turkey’s compliance with the Kyoto Protocol of the UN Climate Change Convention. The effects of various greenhouse gas emission reduction obligations of Turkey on the Turkish economy and sectors for the post-2012 period are examined and economic simulation models are created to enable these qualitative inquiries. This project, which will contribute to the decision-making process of Turkey’s Climate Change, is aimed at taking the first outputs in the second half of 2009.
